Here is a fuser and glass slumping kiln that can also be used for low-fire ceramics. Built of extra strong materials, it offers a 3 year warranty and years of trouble-free service. It fires to Cone 03 or 2000° F. and has elements that are pinned close to the firing chamber to increase the element life. A pyrometer is included. The peepholes are tapered which provides a wider angle of view into the firing chamber. The power switch is infinitely variable, providing a smooth power curve to reduce shock when working with glass. The base plate is strong steel and the kiln has a heavy steel lid hinge, brace and back clamps. A steel stand is included. This top-loading kiln has a 17-1/2" octagonal chamber with a 6-3/4" depth. The outside dimensions are 24-1/2"W x 29"D x 21" H. It draws 120 volts and can be used on household current but it requires a 20 amp fuse and an outlet that matches the configuration of the end plug.
